Daily writing prompt
Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.

If there’s one thing I hope people say about me, it’s that I noticed them, showing true empathy. The ability to connect and understand others through empathy is a value I hold dear.

Whenever I’m talking to someone who feels down, lonely, or left out—especially when everyone else is wrapped up in their own conversations—it naturally triggers my empathy. Because of that, I feel drawn to connect, listen, and remind them they matter. In fact, this instinct has been part of who I am since childhood. Over time, I’ve always gravitated toward the underdogs and those who feel unseen.

Because empathy plays such a central role in my life, it’s also the reason I created the ThoughtsBeCaught app. At its core, my app is built around one simple promise: “Change is possible — and here’s the proof.” With that in mind, I wanted to build something that helps people pause before reacting. As a result, it encourages people to speak more gently to themselves and, at the same time, treat others with more patience and understanding.

Ultimately, I believe real change starts with awareness. When we slow down, notice our thoughts, and respond with compassion instead of impulse, we create space for growth. Therefore, if ThoughtsBeCaught helps even one person feel less alone, yell less at others or themselves, and choose empathy in a difficult moment, then it’s doing exactly what it was meant to do.
