Do I Still Play as an Adult?
I do still play — but it looks different now. Most of my playtime happens with my daughter. Her laughter, curiosity, and energy create moments that feel light and genuine. I don’t often sit down to “play” by myself the way I did years ago, but that doesn’t mean play has disappeared from my life. When work feels like play, life and work blend wonderfully.
It’s just evolved.

Coding Is My Version of Play
When I code, I feel like I’m playing. Exploring ideas, solving puzzles, experimenting with new approaches — it hits the same part of my brain that play always did. Time disappears. Curiosity takes over. The pressure fades. This is when work feels like play and creativity truly flows.
That feeling is one of the biggest reasons I want to run my own business. Coding doesn’t drain me — it energizes me. It feels creative, not forced, and makes work feel like play.
Playing With New Technology
Trying new technology is another form of play for me. New frameworks, platforms, ideas — each one feels like opening a new toy box. There’s no rulebook at first, just curiosity and experimentation.
That sense of discovery keeps me motivated. It’s fun, challenging, and deeply satisfying, especially when work feels like play.
Work as an Extension of Life
I don’t want work to feel separate from life. I want it to be part of it. Not a job I clock into, but an extension of how I naturally live and think.
The traditional 8-to-5 doesn’t work for me. What does work is waking up when my mind is ready, then diving deep — sometimes for 12 hours straight — because I’m genuinely engaged. That rhythm feels healthier, more honest, and more sustainable.
Why Play Matters
When work feels like play, it stops being something you survive and starts being something you build with. That mindset creates better ideas, deeper focus, and a stronger sense of purpose.
This belief is also part of why I built ThoughtsBeCaught — to help people notice patterns, reflect honestly, and create space for curiosity instead of pressure. Life doesn’t have to be rigid to be productive. Work doesn’t have to replace life.
One’s life can grow from it.
When curiosity leads, play follows — and everything feels a little more possible.
ThoughtsBeCaught is built around one core promise: “Change is possible — and here’s the proof.”
ThoughtsBeCaught is designed as a utility app for the mind — a place to pause, notice your thoughts, and reflect in a way that feels natural, not overwhelming.
